A impressive yet elegant wedding in the Ballroom of the 5 star Landmark Hotel in London, featuring a large, discrete lighting rig, stage, drape & shimmer backdrop, star light dancefloor and loads more, making this wedding reception party a real night to remember.

ABC Production Services were asked to create a wedding to remember. Our brief was to be elegant, and impressive, yet implement lighting and other features to make a real party atmosphere for the young couple and their friends as well as adding breathtaking features throughout the night.

We installed our self climbing truss, enabling us to hang 24 Clay Paky Sharpy beam lights, LED wash lights, genrics lights, mirror ball as well as the sound.  By hanging the speakers in the ceiling meant that the stage was free from ugly and obscuring speaker cabinets as well as giving a better sound coverage in the room.

ABC also installed a white starlight dancefloor with a custom built multi-level white stage and stage backdrop.  The stage backdrop was a custom built white pinch pleat with glittering shimmer panel board columns to add that extra wow factor to the look of the stage.

The cake was a modern twist to the traditional tiered wedding cake, decorated with skewed stacked presents intertwined with symbols of places and moments meaningful to the bride and groom.  The desert buffet and its reveal was another impressive crescendo to the evening.  It was hidden behind a large drape, and using a Kabuki system, the drape dropped at a certain moment to reveal a huge desert buffet fit for kings, with every type of desert imaginable.

To top the evening off, after the band was a DJ to play music until the early hours for the close friends of the bride & groom, with an out of this world light show, all supplied by ABC Production Services.

ABC Production Services have created many elegant and impressive stage sets as well as supply lighting sound and rigging in the 5 star Grange City Hotel in London.

For the event shown in the picture, using our flair and imagination, we installed an impressive curved stage with glitter fascias and a curved glitter DJ booth. Keeping with the curved theme, we installed truss arches that arched over the stage, defying gravity and with a selection of Clay Paky Sharpies, GLP Impressions, Molefay and James Thomas PixeLine MicroW LED wash lights used to illuminate the function room and bring it to life.

For the sound, we used the latest Nexo PS15R2 sound system with the new LS18 bass bins and digital amplifiers, giving a truly crystal clear and pleasantly loud sound. We only use the best and most suitable sound systems on our event, as a cheap sound system can be deafening, distorted and ruin an event.

Claridges Hotel in London is the perfect setting for an elegant Bar-Mitzvah or Bat-Mitzvah, with its wonderful Art Deco décor and illustrious reputation, it is one of the world’s top 5 star hotels, positioned in the heart of Mayfair.
Even with its striking décor, ABC Production Services were asked by Orchid Events to design and build a concept for a joint Bar-Mitzvah and Bat-Mitzvah event, with a real flare and wow factor yet elegant to match the feel of the venue, with elements for the adults and kids.

The colour scheme for the event was black, being a neutral colour as the event was a joint Bar-Mitzvah and Bat-Mitzvah. For the kids, we constructed three custom built, long tables filled with sweets, finished with mirror detailing and black gloss edges, perfectly matching the elegant bar-stools and incredible flower arrangements by Rob Van Helden.  The three long sweet tables where positioned on one side of the room, keeping the kids all together.

For the adults, a more contemporary look was used, with large 6ft and 7ft round tables to ensure comfort for the guests while seated as well as subtle lighting to add to the mood and accentuate the amazing floral table centre pieces.

A custom built high gloss, acrylic dancefloor was constructed in the middle of the room, infront of the custom built stage, with a large 6m wide LED video screen behind that.  For the lighting and sound, ABC used their ground support system to construct a concealed frame over the entire stage and dancefloor, thus keeping all sound and lighting in the ceiling for maximum effect.

We have worked at Claridges for many years, and have a great relationship with event team, who you will find a pleasure deal with.  With our wealth of experience, we were able to transform the room efficiently and quickly, with a quality finish that you would expect to see in such a prestigious venue.

When guests arrive at 3 Olaf Street, the venue stands out at night with the striking LED lighting in all the window bays.  Upon entering the venue, guests or delegates walk into a breathtaking 35ft high white space reception area, with window bays upto the ceiling on two of the walls that flood the room with natural light during the day.  ABC Production Services have previously transformed the reception area using subtle lighting or projection on the large blank walls as well as shards of light running floor to ceiling between the window bays.

The main event space is a complete blank canvas with adequate 3 phase power to allow for even the largest event or studio usage. The area has one wall of large window bays that can let natural light flood in during the day, and at night the blinds can be closed and illuminated with the LED window bay lighting.  On the opposite side of the windows are the more floor to ceiling windows that separate the main venue space and the onsite café.  The café is illuminate by day with its striking glass ceiling that allows light to also enter the main venue space through the the floor to ceiling windows.  For events the café area can be subtly and seamlessly concealed and shut off from the main event space.  For photo shoots and TV and film studio work, the café allows for on-site refreshments, saving the cost of a catering unit.

ABC Production Services managed all technical requirements for a Magical Garden themed event at One Mayfair in London, providing lighting, sound, AV and stage set for one of the largest events held in the venue.

With a short time-scale to organise the event and a brief that pushed the boundaries, with concepts never done in the venue before, ABC were able to deliver far beyond the client’s expectations.

The event had to be very rustic in feel to accomplish the enchanted forest look and feel, yet it needed to incorporate modern elements seamlessly. From custom built tables and chairs, benches, etc. to flowers, trees and plants filling the room. The concept was accomplished with tremendous success, as when guests entered the room they were blown away with how an old church had been completely transformed into an enchanted forest / magical garden.

All of the furniture was custom made for the event and hired to the client; from rustic wooden tables, benches, low coffee tables and even chairs with iron work on them. There was also a large wishing tree in the reception with a grassed small park area with hopscotch, a lovers swing and outdoor games.

The technical requirements were pushed to the limit, with the client wanting a 10m high backdrop, a 3 meter high multi level stage with stairs, lighting suspended above the backdrop and a large 12ft wide video screen that would show custom content, including slow motion video clips of the guests made throughout the event. Due to the confined space and lack of rigging points, ABC Production Services’ ground support self climbing truss was utilised to raise the backdrop and suspend the lighting behind the multilevel stage set we also had to build.

The ColourPoint is IP65 rated, meaning it is weatherproof and can be left running outside in the rain. The unit uses the industry standard Wireless Solutions WDMX to transmit wireless DMX over the 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz radio frequencies for a distance of upto 700m using either a WDMX transmitter or setting one of the uplighters on master mode, making it control all the other units.

RGB Colour Laser Hire in London

Laser Show HireABC Production Services have added some full colour RGB lasers to their hire stock  (perfect for events) and are offering them at an amazing deal installed and with an operator.

A laser adds an amazing and unique effect to your event, and due to our great deals, will not break the bank. Hiring a laser at any event will impress your guests and is a focal point that draws attention and memories for what it does and is capable of.

The lasers are fully certified and supplied with fully qualified and certified operators, are fully insured and come with additional safety equipment as standard, complying to all current guidelines.

The lasers we stock are all full colour RGB lasers, and we stock two sizes, being 1 watt and 3 watt.  To the man in the street, this doesn’t sound a lot, however on full white in a straight beam (no effects, just stationary), the 3 watt laser can easily and quickly pop a balloon, thus all the certification and training we undertaken!


All lasers we hire come installed with an engineer and a laser controller. The controller has numerous per-programmed patterns and can even display simple graphics, logos and even text like names.

The laser units need a single 13amp power supply for each unit and must be able to be mounted above people’s heads.


Laser HireCurrently we are offering two types of RGB Lasers, all with a qualified and certified operator and controller for only £1,995 for two 3 watt lasers and £1,595 for two 1 watt lasers, fully installed in the London area.
