Rigging

From a basic table frame arrangment to a complex truss structure, ABC draw upon a wealth of experience as well a huge inventory of rigging equipment.

ABC hold the UK's largest quantity of Slick Litebox, an industry standard truss which is noted for its weight loading and ease of assembly.

Case Study

Riverside Studios , London

Meticulously following millimeter perfect CAD drawings, ABC were able to assemble this concert rig at a TV studio in London. The whole rig was hung on CM 1t Loadstars. It had Over 50 moving heads, 60 generic lanterns and a Line array PA suspended from it.

Below left you can see the CAD the crew were following, and to the right you can see the crew building the rig. Below that you can see the finished result.

Using Slick Litebox truss circle segments we made a unique curved stage backdrop . Being so strong and lightweight we are able to suspend upto 180kg at the end of the canterlevered truss curves. As an added wow factor we used James Thomas PixelLine MicroWs to act as truss warmers. How did we get the canterlever and stability without anchoring or suspending the truss arches, call us to find out how!

Case Study

Livery Hall , London

Using our LiteTower system (self climbing tower for Slick Litebox, Litebeam, XO Tri & Quad), we constructed a frame around what was a very dull and lifeless room. The frame was used to suspend the lighting (being movers and generics) as well as the draping. As the truss was at head height to rig the draping and the lights, everything went up within a few hours, saving the client money due to the fewer crew needed. Below are images that show you the room before and after we applied our magic.
